The Foundation Stones of NBMI
What We Believe
- We believe that the creator of all things is Our Heavenly Father, who we refer to as “Jehovah” and the “Almighty God”. He manifests Himself in three persons, namely: The Father, The Son (Our Lord Jesus the Christ) and the Holy Spirit.
- There is only one true God, who is Our Heavenly Father, Jehovah. There is none else like Him in boundlessness, holiness, righteousness, faithfulness, greatness, counsel, wisdom, knowledge, understanding authority, mighty, wealth, love, mercy and grace. He has a matchless love for us.
- Jesus of Nazareth, born of the Virgin Mary, is The Christ and The Son of God. He came to earth to be the example for mankind. He voluntarily died for our sins, and has risen from the dead. Presently, He is seated at the right hand of the Father, making intercession for us. He shall return soon.
- The Holy Spirit is our Counselor, Comforter, Companion and Helper. He lives inside of us with our permission. He supernaturally empowers us, and is ever present to help us demonstrate the miraculous works of Jesus Christ.
- The Holy Bible is the infallible Word of God and is the final authority, needing no correction, addition, nor alteration. True revelation of His Word comes by the anointing of the Holy Spirit from Our Heavenly Father Himself.
The Heavenly Father still influences and speaks to His children through His written Word (The Holy Bible) and through His ministers and prophets speaking under the influence of the Holy Spirit.
- Our Heavenly Father has made great provisions for us and has given special gifts to us (His children) that we may enjoy a victorious and abundant life.
- We believe that our obedience to every Word of God will establish us in prosperity; spirit, soul and body. This calls for ‘Faith in God’; the substance of things hoped for and the evidence of things not yet seen.
- We also believe that our Heavenly Father will use whomever and whatever would yield to Him so that His will can be done on the earth as it is in heaven.
- Through prayer and fasting, and praise and worship, we can commune with the Father. God inhabits the praises of His people.
- When the “fear of (reverential respect for) God” is put back into its proper place, then supernatural manifestations will flow more freely.
- A man without God will live below his standard because he was born with a sinful nature and is negatively influenced by the god of this world, who is Satan. For man to take his rightful place he has to first submit to Jesus Christ as His Savior and Lord.
